I'm sick of the medatative trance crap.

How is the math on that? PWR 16 equals 16 units where did that last unit come
from?

For spells? I don't let 'em have it. If your a mage and need your Units don't
take 2nd watch. For DP I will let them get it as long as nothing happens in
the night. Hell I'll let em get full recovery if someone wakes em and they don't
get up ( I've seen a few GMs throw in a 2nd watch fight to stop the party from
recovering ).

If no one was hurt and you had no spells why did you need 12 hours? Just get
a 8 hour nap and not be tired.

That is what the midday lunch break is for. Out of 24 hours we use 12 hours
for sleep and out of the other 12 you have: making camp, food prep, breaking
camp and of course travel.
