Nah..hold over from AD&D. To memorize a spell its 4hrs of rest/prep
time, then you spend x time imprinting the spell, or drawing the
power of your god in. *shrug* Works fairly well with AQ magic,
though I would prefer it if you got your units back from meditation
instead of sleep. i.e. you meditate and draw the energy into you. This
would however necessitate a shorter amount of 'recharge' time.

I can see that. Wouldn't mind seeing it done either.

I always let'em recover it so long as they get full 8hrs in the night.

*grin* one of the reasons noone plays a priest of Ra. They don't want
to sit around during the day and wait for the Priest to recharge.
