Re Move through Attacks
Lostsa questions on this topic. The basic idea is to start out of combat
range, buzz past the target, whack him once on the way by and end up out
of combat range. The questions are:
0) Should this beastie even exist as an allowable rule. If not, say so
her and blow the rest of the questions off...
1) How fast do you have to be able to move to accomplish this? 120'/round
seems to be the going answer.
2) In this fly by attack... do you get to use your MOD?
3) Can the attacker use his weapon skill?
4) If going for the impale, does the attacker lost his weapon? If not is
it an automatic keep or is some check involved?
5) What forms of movement are allowed? I'd say allow everything to keep
it simple, but you might not agree... so: hawksoar? horseback? sprinting
check from hell?
Interesting to note that only hawksoar would allow a weapon skill check
on the part of the attacker... both other transport methods involve using
a skill in that round already (horsemanship or sprinting).
I think thats all of the issues... anything else is a seperate issue
(controlling the horse, defending from such an attack, etc...) and
will probably get discussed in its turn.
