Yeah... I thought of that but was going to save it for the next topic :)
I believe the same weapon skill that you already have can be overloaded
to handle this case. As a GM I would rule the following:

If you want to make a X die check against your weapons skill for a
precise attack you can use that for your impale. I might get more radical
than that but that would, IMHO, be an acceptable ruling. Lethal attack
would also apply here.

Certainly you could use the 'defensive' part of your weapon skill to
raise your own DVs...

Out on the radical limb... since your only going to get one attack I'd
let you make that attack straight up.... with mods and skill assuming
you rolled the skill during your round and have an attack left. (back
to splitting dice I realize but it does simplify a lot of odd ball
combat possibilities... and make their adjudications much more obvious).
But before this degenerates, I'd kinda like to get a ruling on how 
Move through Attacks should be handled, then we can side step and work
on how they should be defnded against :)
