Except its not. You just need to hold the physical spot where the
nexus resides. You don't need to carry the war through it. Whatever
denizens on the other side of the portals probably don't care
what happens here. Also... any battle front coming through the portal
comes in 10' waves... then they have to crall across baracades and
live through the fireballs as they swim across the moat. Be real.
