Negative. All your changing is the method of rest/repair... not
how they work.
Hirudo and Ra-ites channel units the same as everyone else. They
tire their pathways same as everyone else. To heal up, most people
sleep. Hirudo drink blood. Ra-ites bathe in the sun. In the absence
of divine energy to channel, perhaps neither of them can cast spells
again. Or perhaps they channel something other than divine energy.
Since Ra needs sunlight to cast some of their spells perhaps they
actually channel sunlight. Rudrites need darkness...
They are not examples against channelling in any way though.

Why have exceptions. The more exceptions a rule has the less of a rule
it is.
