Two pennies, anyone?
Fisrt, I hope that everyone has had a pleasant Thanksgiving holiday.
Secondly, Jevan, thanks for posting the meeting rules. Verbatim means
using exactly the same words and that I haven't heard used before to
describe a group "concensus" (eh, perhaps the Borg :) ).
Thrid, about the considered "armor skill": it is unclear as to whether it
applies to ALL of the penlties (STR, AGI, PWR) or just STR and AGI (I
cannot see warriors being able to counter the PWR restriction)?
Also, do we need to make warriors more powerful? Granted, from my view
point, warriors are not the most exciting to play (based on available
skills and abilities), however, I have had trouble keeping the warriors
in my games from just charging head long into battle. Okay, on my last
adventure were Mike K.'s 100+ warrior present, yeah, he just waded into
combat and downed about 1 and 1/2 enemies per round. I hit him once
(then they just started grappling him). This case is extreme but Greg's
rate 10 - 15 warrior did the same thing (he got grappled a little easier,
though [Sorry, Greg :)] ). Granted, when it comes to magic, warriors
have to rely on Magic Items or their stats to get them through but this
isn't being considered in any proposal (not that is should). How much
more powerful do warriors really need to be?
Lastly, Kevin, I fail to see how advertising that one of your characters is
willing to take bids on a block of adimantite leads to the consistancy
and plot line development that this list has been supposedly created for.
Sorry.
