1)	I defer back to Sean's post ... if the action requires
interstellar travel, it's a special case that ought to be
	adjudicated by DAN

2)	If we're interstellar explorers, we're no longer in the fantasy
	setting of AQ.

Forget about what? :)

1)	Wow, sucks to do casting in a pocket dimension opposed to your
	element.
How well do the fire spells that let you light torches and such work
	underwater?

2)	Now you're extradimensional. i.e. outside the bounds of the Jearn
setting (much like outer space). Ergo, any ruling applicable to
Jaern may or may not be applicable to your new dimension.

Perhaps Earth magic doesn't work here.
Perhaps it works and DOES anchor to the pebble in your shoe ...
until you exit the dimension. Then perhaps what you had
following you while in the dimension doesn't follow you
		out.
Perhaps there's a clause in Infero about extradimensional blue
	fielding.
Perhaps it was all just a dream ...

In short, let the GM adjudicate ... more to the point, go to DAN.

If a tree falls in the forest, on the fifth Tuesday of the month, and hits
a mime, does it make a sound?

You know, an absolute solution would be:

They just don't work at ALL any more,

but that would suck.
