That arguement still allows for the thousands and thousands of defered
and blue fielded spell effects. You row out to sea, get a nice deep
spot with no islands. Water mage buddy(or you) hops into the sea and
enmasses himself(note this is using something like a long boat). Then
since the enmassed person is the largest object and you just start defering
and blue fielding.
Or as per the last part of your example. You don't even need to enmass
or go out to see. Just Mr. Earthmage or Mr. Watermage gets a small ring
worm/flea/mite/fly ect... places it somewhere on his body that is normally
hidden by clothing, and defer the spell then Suspend time the animal.
Instant 1 shot for free magical item.
That is why this is undesirable.
