Correct. Most combat takes place inside a building, a dungeon, a city,
the woods, etc... I have only once came across the enemy when they didn't
know I was there. Now that was a slaughter... found them at the base of a
cliff... ahhh...
The increased bow range is, as Wright says, no big deal unless GMs want
to play to it. This would require a departure from they adventures we
already run. In the few cases it will make a difference the player gets
that gushy feeling because he actually gets to use that bow skill he's
been bying since he was a child :)
As for everything else Wright just spewed in this message. Yep.
I'm leaning toward:
1) Range sanitizing
2) Bow skill for range (to bring range up to respectable levels and make
bow skill more desirable)
