RE: weapon list to peruse

Not to mention the fact that it is awful tough to breathe while wearing
a dented breastplate, and a maul could definitely dent a breastplate.

Nope, I still like the d12 level of damage, still without possibility of any
multi-attack.

A block of wood has mass, but its gonna knock around someon. This is
fine for lesser armors, but against things like full plate its not gonna
be that effective.

Further only the last few dp(last 6 or so) is you taking actual horrible
damage. till then its dodging juking, getting tuckered out, may be getting
a few minor cuts and bruises. a maul is a _TOOL_ not a weapon, and
is not quickly or easily used. Hince why it does lower damage.
If you hit a normal person(6dp) with it, they are seriously hurt or dead.
If you attack a trained combatant(7+dp) they can dodge a couple of shots,
or only get a glancing blow that doesn't kill'em. End result its
a slow and clumsy weapon that people can dodge,b ut when you do get
the final hit, they die.

Halberds on the other hand are fairly easy to use weapons, being designed
for killing and all. Hince why its damage is higher. Its faster and
easier to use. Same with greatswords, broad swords, long swords, etc..
