I can see your point _IF_ it gives no benefit. If you want to look cool,
fine, but it should not give a benefit. Your example greg gives a huge
benefit. You never disarm yourself, and so don't have to waste a round
retreiving your weapon. The blowing of a kiss, or John's thing are
completely different. They have no benefit other than looking cool or
wierd. For what you use, I'd make you research the spell at 5x cost so
that instead of complicated standard hand gestures, you wave your sword
around in said gestures. Or you could just switch your sword to your
shield hand for 4 seconds, and then transfer it back once done. Something
that wouldn't stop anything, but casting with something in your hand
is a no no. That includes having a shield strapped to the arm.
