Warriors
The thought that I had about the warriors and base costs reflect the
flexability thing. All a warrior has to do is buy one skill and some mod.
This in itself is a huge advantage over other backgrounds. When you give
them more flexibility and sub-skills it is analagous to giving them new
spell groups. Since they dont use units as such they still keep the leg
up they always had on mages. Giving them new abilities and taking away
limitations for no cost is a mistake. If the base cost was raised to a
respectable number like 400 or 500, this could be a skill that a character
could base themselves around. If new skills are applied, new costs should
be added. A raise in base cost or an itemized cost list (uugh, the dread
of the very idea) of sub skills to be bought separately would lend to the
idea of the warrior skill master artist as opposed to the armed thug.
