Re: Hirudo killers

I say the same thing about water mages :)

That too.

Woa! I never realized how much water mages and Hirudo had in
common.

I said I'd go on that...

Wrong. That's not playing smart, thats playing against the rules.
Shade takes 3 rounds to cast and cannot be cast in daylight. I kill
you. When you drop the spell you should pray for the flip-flop or..
(you guessed it) I kill you. Assuming you do all this on the stealth
and are actually trying to jump me, sure take the suprise round. You
grab me. I verbal cast a divine word... you die (if you fail the
check). You bite me. Existing rules say I'm dead, so I DI and maybe
your dead to. My rules, I divine word you again, or attempt a stress
break. You don't have a guarenteed kill here. I could use wrestling
squirm or whatever it is to break also.

Old rules. New ombrodolor doesn't cause a penalty for making the
check. Its no longer an instant killer. And your assuming suprise
again. What if I'm stalking you and hit you with some deferred
fireballs?

Old rules on corruption again. My writeup fixed that as well.
Muck is rate 10 right? It takes about 39 rates just to have muck
and defer 10. So about 60 rates of spells to be able to defer it
twice. And this thing didn't start a hirudo so it probably has at
least 20 rates of something non spellish. That only leaves about
20 rates for DP, mods and wrestling. At base 900 the higher spells
are not something you can just toss around. The rate 50 ones can't
do it at all. Do the math kids.

I've not even tried to argue current writeup hirudo. I view that as
not worth arguing as they would unimously be voted down. I'm arguing
altered Hirudo. No less the killers in their own way, but more in
keeping with other backgrounds.
