Hrm.. reasonably expect... Hrm... this week very likely. As to
methods, I pondering doing it all statistically but then I figured
what the hell is CPU for? So I'll do it brute force. I'll build two
warriors and then let the machine simulate 100 combats (including
initiative, failed skill checks, etc...) for every combination
of mod (1-20), DV (9-20), weapon skill (0-18), parry (0-18). I'll
assume 50 DP at all times.

I'll run the same test above for:

1. parry as a split dice weapon subskill
2. parry as a seperate skill that only allows one attack
3. parry as a seperate skill that still lets you use your weapon skill
4. no parry, just weapon skill

The weapon skill will be re-run using varying combinations of multi,
lethal and precise and varying number of dice against each.

The results I expect:

1. All evenly matched bouts will have close to 50/50 results
2. with parry as a seperate skill only allowing one attack, I expect
the defender (the one who always uses parry) to die every time.
3. with parry as a split dice weapon subskill... I expect the defender
to die every time
4. with parry as a seperate skill that lets you use your weapons
skills... I expect a more interesting distribution

For kicks I'll also varry how many points of DV parry gives you just
to see if I can get a curve I'm happier with.
