I had thought my comments at the end of the evening were clear in that the
game ended with the closing of the Nexus. I did this for one reason: I
wanted it over and done with. After being in the middle of an hour and a
half of argument, I simply wanted to make sure that this got done and life
went on.
Apparently the closing of the Nexus is going to end up having little to no
effect on most plotlines, as GMs who have extra-dimensional adventures
planned have already stated that they will just go outside the no-portal
area and create Otherworlds. GMs with no extra-dimensional adventures, of
course, wouldn't have their plotlines affected in any event.
