Because nothing has... how many portals got sucked in? A dozen? A
hundred? Map 'em. If you don't like the results, burn down that
portal. This defensive posture and speculation is weak.

The ones that would be their if you were really worried about an
attack.

Where we use fantasy to project realistic (within the bounds of
of gaming system) scenarios. Correct. FANTASY doesn't mean improbable.
In fact we've been arguing for logic and consequences for a while. This
thread is silly because now a couple of people have started to see
something as possible and they'll move it to probable and then it'll
happen for no reason other than they wanted it to.

At least stretch for something. Maybe someone from Attalia came
through and went to some of the other worlds and started making
alliances and enemies... and most importantly making everyone
aware that holding the nexus gives them a tactical advantage in
an inter-world war (not that anyone has the tech to wage war on
their own world, let alone against others. Sheesh).
