Re: floating_city

The nexus is made of otherworld portals...those only lead off world, so unless
they lead to established off world portals to bounce back to Jaern some where
else, then you are stuck with going to other worlds that other folks chose.

Wonder if whoever is on the other side of those other world portals have started
to realize that the Nexus is the most god aweful security risk ever. Hmmm...
instant foot access for entire armies to pass through to my domain from another.
This is bad. Anyone bothered to fortify the Rougtero end? Or is the grand
cliche of the ancient and powerful guardian dragon(or other actor) sitting there
as the 'guardian of the portal' to keep it from being used by folks with ideas of
conquest? That'd be a cool Torite type adventure...pushing back a horde of
folks from some other world bent on easy conquest(which Rougtero is), and then
establishing and maintaining a garrison there.

Heh..that could be very cool.

Anyways, Adios.
