Discrepencies like this are exactly the reason that there should be a map
of the island that includes where the towns are (this is a BIGGIE), rough
estimates of how long it takes to get to them (by boat, foot, and horse),
major geographical information (forest, swamp, framland, valcano, etc.),
and ports.
Having this map would increase our resources as GMs - not limit them.
Sure, not every villiage is going to be on the map. Hell, how many
little po-dunk towns are there in the upper half of this state?
Answer: more than the number of times that I've pissed the entire party
off playing by Keerkeron. So, if you need a village to be 4 mets outside
of WesT End, go for it. There would be no need to redraw the entire map.
I know that Tony has a map which he has drawn. Perhaps, we could prevail
upon him to let us use it and have it become "approved".
