Re: Move through
I'd still say each spell group. In theory, each spell builds upon
the knowledge garnered in a previous spell in the same list. They
don't draw on the knowledge of spell groups of the same element.
Granted you get power from them, you do not get rank 8 time/necro
for buying rank 7 in Magnetism. I can almost see the all encompasing
multiskill for mages if you do it group by group, and for a BC of
about 250 or so.
However the all encompasing skill that is allowable for general use
with all spell groups is not a wise choice. It is VASTLY over
powered, esspecially for a base cost of 200-300. The current individual
skills cost usually this much each.
