As for your final snyde comment, I find that rude, obnoxious, and
inappropriate. I'm fed up with this attitude that you put forth, and have
no desire to see it again. Why you persist in such is beyond me, but please
stop it. I reset the implication that I do nothing at work but plan gaming
material, or that I put no time in outside of work. Since I put in
an hour each night on this, I find your implication very insulting.
Furthermore, I feel that this accusation is simply an excuse to hide the
fact that you have accomplished nothing, despite boasts in the past to
have finished this over 3 weeks ago. I can understand the lack of time
one might have, but do not attempt to shuffle the blame of your lack of
productivity off on not being able to get anything done because of work.
Others are taking very heavy class loads, others work a great deal, and
are still managing to get their projects done. So don't give us this
attitude.

You are probably going to react very badly to this Lyle, and frankly,
I don't care. So don't bother replying back to it, just think about it,
and realize that infact you are not perfect, shit happens, just do the
best you can and don't make excuses. If you can't get the thing done,
thats not a major problem, and others are willing to help, just say that
you need it.

(note: normally, I would respond to a personal attack privately, but
since this was clearly an attempt to make a public power-play, I will
respond through the same medium)

Who are you and what did you do with the person I thought Wright had
finally grown into over the past year? Dude, you gotta chill a bit.

If you are going to go off and take everything personally; reading more
of a negative bent into everyone's comments than was intended, then
you undermine yourself. I had thought that you had gotten over taking
everything so personally; maybe I was wrong. Maybe I was also wrong
to suggest to Dan that you were ready for the responsibility associated
with being a senior GM. Y'know, I'm not perfect; I _do_ make mistakes
and maybe that was one of them.

Being able to spew out ideas and produce a bunch of campaign material
is one thing, but it takes a heck of a lot more than that to be a senior GM.
It takes impartiality and a thick skin. It takes the ability to put your own
ideas about a person behind you and just deal with the person's adventurer.
It takes the ability to appreciate the positives in another GM and the willingness
to help them work out the negatives. It takes the wherewithal to not take
things personally and lash out at the slightest provocation.

In my memory, I've only made the one comment about having to work
while at work, at yet you came down on me as if I had been hounding
you about not having to work and perhaps even backstabbing you. Bad
form, Wright. Very bad form. It is also very bad form for you not to care
how people will react to your attacks; that strikes me as a tantrum.

As regards asking for help, I have twice solicited ideas for incants, to no
avail. Now, I don't know about these "boasts in the past to have finished
this over 3 weeks ago", but I told you I would have a good framework for
business and economics by the 15th and I will. You are just going to have
to accept that Geleia will continue to evolve as we play, and so will the
ideas and systems we implement. I will not present anything as final until
it has been play-tested for quite some time and for you to expect me, or
anyone, to do otherwise is unrealistic and unfair to the players and the
campaign as a whole.

I encourage you, Wright, and anyone else for that matter, to respond to
this note with your own thoughts, concerns, ideas, apprehensions, etc.
Only by communicating with one another can we hope to understand
each other, and thus, integrate all our ideas into a cohesive campaign.
