Re: World sizes and such

a) talk to Dan. I believe it was his opinion that he wanted
Rougtero effectively "out of play" for awhile so that
he could get such things done.

b) re:not having a game to play. Start a new PC? Novel concept.
Or when fall hits and we do the 1yr time jump or so, people
will have plenty of options to move or stay.

c) Just a note, 4 settings. Attila(sp?) or whatever the real name
for Kilgore Land is. Mike wrote that one up, and I for
one don't intend to tread on it, mainly cause despite having
the writeup for it, I don't have a feel for it. Same for
Centralia, I don't know the plots or the area at all, I've
only been ther eingame twice now, and I have no desire
to run a game in it. Hell Rougtero included for that matter.

d) Torite writeup, sure, if you are offering, I'll gladly take anything.
If you don't wanna do it, fine, your choice.

e) Bickering and infighting will always occure, its the nature of
the club, and esspecially the nature of 'democracies'. I
agree completely with Dan on this, after a harsh wake up
call of trying to do things differently, large group decisions
and votes just don't work. Oligarchies are much better for
getting things done if ya want a group to do it.

f) job of the GM to do their research and such. Job it may be, but
done it is not. Much better for it to be handed too'em on
a platter and give'em as much as possible for the general
setting. For examples of this, look that the highly
successful and well used campaign worlds of the plethora
of RPGs out there. Prewritten, little research game
worlds are very handy, and in my opinion prefered. That way
you do not get the feeling of playing in a vacumme with
shit coming and going at whim.
