Re: World sizes and such
Rougtero fell apart because it was never meant to be a permanent setting,
as Dan said himself. From my perspective, there was no shortage of
creativity there. The place simply had no background...that's why I
favored the Geleia move. Nothing was ever written up to say whether or
not it had a government, what the mindset of the people would be, how many
people there would be, whether or not it is currently still a tent city,
etc. All Rougtero was was a place to go when Karfelon got nuked. (you
remember Karfelon...the city with background?)
As to being selective about GM's, I'm all for it. I'll be damned if all
the hard work people have put into this new setting now and in the past
will go to waste just because some moron GM didn't know shit about the
setting and went in there and fucked it up. I've been on all of 4
adventures in the new setting, and I love it. The GM's I've had so far
have been terrific, and have done wonders for the campaign. Geleia will
be something that will last, and will have background because I'm not
going to see anyone fuck it up.
