===Believe it or not, I've got a strong Statistics background and good
software packages to show curves, etc, if anyone wants some
models...(comes from some of what I've been doing of late at work and a
genetics background). As most know, all you do by adding multiple die is
push your value closer to the mean; the more repetitions, the less noise
in the system as it tends to cancel out...try rolling 200d6 or so and see
how often you're pretty damned close to just using 200 * 3.5.

Consider odd dice pairing for unusual weapons...keeps them random still
yet can give extra kick...for example a d10d4 sword would tend to behave
as a longsword with a +2.5 to damage, but not necessarily. I can do
standard curves for the dxdy combination for the standard gaming die if
ppl would be interested (i.e. someone ask else I won't do them).

You just gave good reason why magical means still won't let you multi with
the huge weapons, and I like it. What is the driving force for most of
these? Gravity. Period. Will moving at 2x help your zwiehander fall
quicker into your opponent's skull? Nope.

And multi through any means with the big boys is just too damned nasty,
you gotta admit.

I'm not originally from Wisconsin, but I like there now. Does that give
my ideas more weight?
