Teresium is _RARE_. I haven't built an item in a while, but I
think it costs the same in teresium to build regenerating and
single use... which way do you really go? There's two resources
that are being used here: teresium and eeps. No offense to the
mages, but eeps are regenerating, teresium isn't. I don't think
you'll see a lot of charged items unless there is a way (in the
system) to recharge the items without using teresium.

Which is why no one is going to build the +1 dagger :) The dagger
is an effect item (probably) and the fireball is recharging (and
hence cheaper to build... ok maybe not for 4 times a day, but two
definately). Mages aren't stupid. The creation system is their
ruleset and the _MUST_ play to it and maximize.

Change the system to favor the creation of these items... make
weapon chant rank 1 like minibolt... 1d6 autohit, or a temporary
+1 to hit/damage. *shrug* Something has to change or the magic item
distribution would become even more artificial.
