No. You cannot adamand an edged weapon in most cases. The spell calls for
"normally breakable" items. You can make a glass sword and then adamant
it... then the +2 question is applicable. I'd give it to you probably.

*grin* Jump, tackle, immobilize? All pretty bogus.

I've always allowed it. There was some bogosity going around about not
being able to thought activate (or event activate, or verbally activate,
etc...) more than one item in a round. Questionable... very questionable.
