Here are my thoughts on the topics discussed over the last couple
of days:

Immobilize
I have heard people say that immobilizing is a "surgical"
strike and that a higher skill means that the marine knows more
places to strike. Since immobilize is based on STR and not AGI
or INT, higher skills would mean that you can hit the know areas
harder. For this reason, it makes sense to me that extra dice
could be used to immobilize opponents in armor/natural protection.
Greg, didn't you state that most armor on Jaern only covers the
torso, shoulders and thighs?

Torture/Interrogation
As far as I am concerned, torture is the use of physical
pain to either extract information from a person or to make them
wish that they were dead (i.e. lots of nonlethal pain). If a
character would want to learn the "mind games" and how to play on
words, then shouldn't the character buy up their LANGUAGES. The
book states what a high language rank can do (i.e. entertainment,
politician, "used language as a weapon", etc.).

Defensive Skills/Parrying
I have no problem with allowing warrior to increase their CDVs
by learning how to parry. I do NOT think that a skill should be added
to the normal weapon skills (multi attack, quickdraw, etc.). Warriors
have very few things that they need to purchase with their EPs as is.
THey only need to buy DP, CM, and a skill in a weapon or two. I liked
it much better when warriors had to buy MultiAttack, Quickdraw, etc.
as separate skills. THis would allow a character to be customized
better (provided the skills are only applicable to a certain weapon
type). A CDV-equivalent skill to Dodging would be cool. It could
be base cost 200 with STR as its associated stat (since CDV is based
off of STR, and STR is one of the warrior's prime requisites).

Those were my thoughts.
