I dropped a Wrath on three boats this past weekend. 'Nuff said.

Yeah, that was cool.
What wasn't cool was that due to way too much disruptive conduct
(both in and out of character), we didn't leave Stewart Center until
2 am. Call me old or old-fashioned if you want, but gang, we only
have the rooms for so long, and that night our rooms only lasted until
11:55 (as everyone was made aware of well before 10:30).
I know that most people go to AQ to have fun, but there are TWO
very important additional pieces to that that several people seem to
conveniently forget. One, that fun needs to be in the context of the
game, and two, that fun really shouldn't be at the expense of most
other people's fun (in other words, it isn't just all about your own
character and what she or he is doing). If anyone thinks that I am
in violation of these precepts, feel free to call me on it, but you may
want to make sure you can justify your argument. In the last several
games that I have played (excepting this past week due to the fact
that everyone who could do something was doing it), I have actively
gotten other players who may not be as actively involved into the
thick of things for the betterment of their role-playing experience.
Now, as one of the Staff Advisors for the club, I have to tell you that
I will only go to bat for the club and its rooms if the players and GM's
act responsibly with regard to the time we are scheduled for. As it
was, I had to work with the new custodians to keep all three rooms
until 11:55 last weekend due to a huge conference they had to prepare
for. If the club members cannot work together keep our usage of the
rooms within the confines of our timeframe, we may lose some of our
privileges.
Of course, the other staff advisor may be willing to go out on that limb
but I would hope that he would still advocate responsible use of the
club's resources.
