It said nothing about matrix gems not existing inside someone in the book.  
There is very little documentation, if any, about in game rulings, since most 
of them are just one timers.  I didn't know about that ruleing, and I am 
sorry about the mistake.  However, it was planned for my actor to have the 
gem, inside or outside of his body.

Writing up a summery of pertinent rulings made in the past would be usefull 
however, so such mistakes do not happen again.
