Game Summery



My game lasted 9 days, starting on 3-10-10030.  The party was hired by the 
two remaining members of the Water Guild of Klacktri to help them hunt down 
and kill, once and for all, the water mage, Saris.  The party was hired for 
1000 silver and a favor from the guild.

The party sailed for three days when they encountred a ship.  Temidar 
recognized it as the same ship which had previously been used by the thieves 
from the Karfellon Games nearly two years ago (game time).  They approach and 
assult the ship, on which they find Saris's liutenant, Sorikat.  The group 
defeats the ships crew, but their own crew takes heavy casualties, including 
the death of one adventurer. Sorikat escaped into the ocean.  The group found 
maps to the location of Saris's hideout on the other ship.

Once arriving, the remaining Water Mage, the other having been killed in the 
ship fight, provided amulets of Gills to the party to go down into the cave 
in the ocean and kill Saris.  The group proceeded through a number of set 
wards, reaching Saris and the wounded Sorikat in the back of the cage.  The 
fight ensued, Sorikat fled half way through, after taking more wounds.  Saris 
was winning for a time, until a critical point where a Crit by Saris resulted 
in his own jammed fingers, loosing a round.  Eventually, he was defeated, 
while two of the PC's fell unconcous, and the rest limped out of the cave, 
dragging their friends.  

This was a deadly adventure, and without the priest of Isis PC, it is likely 
there would have been more deaths then there were, as the priest was able to 
restore the group after the first battle.  There was a good amount of magical 
treasure found on the adventure as well, including a matrix gem found when 
they hacked up the corpse of Saris (it was inside him).  Overall, it was a 
challenging, but successful adventure, ending the threat of the mage Saris at 
last.
