Last 'history changer button' that I remember was the rod of blue waves
which was destroyed sometime back.
Further 'nixing' a game is just bad in general. There is no need for it
here, just
adapt and overcome.

Dessus is dead and has been for damn near a decade REAL time now. He
was finally put to rest on an adventure that Lyle ran. We kicked his
old wrinkly
ass to oblivian quite thoroughly. Okay well Chambrai and a couple
others did,
I just stood around and gawked in awe. =) Definately one of the most
memorable
adventures i've been on.
The 'Dessus Thread' that Matt Somers, Brian Henning, and others ran was
not actually
Dessus at the heart of it.

The ways and the motives of the gods are mysterious and unknown to mere
mortals. Some of Tarus's people surived the purges but not all. They are
still greatly diminished but not completely. Further was Tarus warned that
it was Rudri was gonna be doin the deed? Cause if I remember right they
were in cahoots and she double crossed him. Noone but Dan knows the
entire story there and since Dan was in on this I don't think its a big
deal.
Dan knows the story behind it, and we don't need to.
Have some faith Andy, Dan has been at this for a long time and knows the
story behind the story. He has run it for years. The gods are left up to
Dan for a reason. Keep them and their actions mysterious and they don't
seem like a buncha yahoos sitting on cushions munching grapes and drinking
ambrosia and plotting how to dork with the 'little people'.
There is a story behind it all, I've heard some of it and its cool. Let it
go,
have some faith, enjoy the game. Its not worth getting as bent out of shape
as ya have become. =) And as I said, adapt and overcome. You haven't
had your setting screwed or your plotline destroyed. You can adjust it
as it needs to be adjusted.
