I do not now, nor will I ever, acknowledge making a mistake in consulting
Dan. He is the campaign coordinator, as well as the GM who created the
Nexus, a plot device that featured heavily in my intended adventure. He
allowed me to eliminate his plot device and run my adventure entirely as I
planned.

For those of you that GM regularly in Rougtero, this is how it is supposed
to work. You create a summary of your planned adventure, you email it to Dan
or make arrangements to discuss it with him in person. As the campaign
coordinator it is then his right to ask you to change any or all of your
intended plot. Speaking from experience, I can say that he is more than
willing to help you do so. This is the procedure that I have followed every
time I have started a plotline, or wanted to GM a one-off adventure. It's
his campaign, and by NOT consulting Dan you do him a disservice.

How many GMs willingly accept the 5000 experience point bounty that was
placed on GMing an adventure? If you recall, that bounty was for adventures
approved by the campaign coordinator. Quite simply, unless you run your plot
by Dan first, you don't deserve it.

Also, on a related note, I would like to say how very disappointed I was
Saturday night in the behaviours of a few members of the Fantasy Club.
Calling for an election of a new campaign coordinator just because something
happened in a game that was upsetting to you is, at best, childish. Dan has
put years of work into this campaign and this system, and to put forward the
idea of simply tossing him out because you have an evening with which you
are dissatisfied is something to be ashamed of.
