A minor clarification, this should be obvious however just to make
sure.

if your strength is 4 less than that required to wield the weapon
you may wield it with 2 hands if it is normally a one handed weapon.
I.e. Chuck the Mauler wishes to use a longsword but has a strength
of 9, he can use it one handed.  As could Mickey the Mutalator who
has a strength of 8, but not poor Gilby the Impaler who has a strength
of 7.
