Matrix gems make your units more efficient? Your implying that 
matrix gems come into play during the casting and not the charging.
Incorrect as currently you have to "heal" up the extra 50% that
matrix gems give you. But then if you give that gem to someone else
those units just go away... you don't have them, the gem doesn't have
them, who knows where they went?

In channel theory the gem works during the healing phase to fortify
these pathways. Crap true... ditch the "heal up to the units" and
either theory fits again.
