Re: Armor proposal 1

This is where we differ in opinion.

In the modern world of armor, there are generally two realms of
protection..

Hard and heavy
or mobile.

Why design a suit of armor that is mediocre in both extremes?
Armor should always maximise one of these two characteristics, so
adamantite armor should always be lighter than shit (very hard to make) or
should be very heavy and protect a lot better than iron. It has been said
that adamantite is twice as dense as iron.

The assumption that very thin plates give much greater protection I think
is invalid. Or if it is valid, then there should be adamantite heavy tank
armor in the game that gives twice the DVs for twice the thickness of
plates.
