Because no soul is required to be a priest of T'or.  The 'power' that tor
gives goes through the weapon ONLY.  Not through the priest.  The sword
is the focal point for the little bit of power t'or gives,t he rest
comes from all those years of training(the reason that other folks can't
be priest of t'or Oout of background).

This is also why priests of t'or cannot buy core spells.  He is the
exception for how deities give their priests powers.
