It depends I would hate to adjudicate it. I would say that the body takes
the damage. Someone PLEASE read SOUL STRIKE since I think that a soul is
not actually required to be targeted. I am a proponent that DP is a
physical thing ( the reason why a ship has DP and so does a door ) but
others beg to differ ( most of these people want to body hop and take
their DP with 'em ).

In the past I've had the ability to possess animals and when I was in
the animal it didn't gain my DP. So if a cat ate my rat I would just
ditch the rat at that moment. When you Transmog into a whale you end
up with its DP not yours. Same if you turn yourself into a Slug per
the Osiris spells.
