Hrm. I'll grant that the term 'mid-rate' is subjective here. I'd call
someone of rate 40 mid-rate. High rate characters (and there are a good
number out there) are rate 90 and above currently.

In my last game three of the adventurers were over 100 and three
others also qualified as "high-rate" or very close... then a few
low-raters.

Not trying to prove a point. Someone made the statements that raising
your missile DV wasn't very realistic and that it altered game
balance a lot. I was refuting these statements, not trying to make one
of my own.

Again... I was not arguing for it, just against blanket statements
against it.

Greg said much the same thing (ie whoever writes it up, make sure that
missile defense is a seperate option).
