RE: Swap Jevan For Michael?
Actually, Kris, I think that would be a great idea. Not only would it
serve the immediate (and admittedly somewhat selfish) purpose,
but it would help lend a more global aspect to the Geleia setting.
There has been some discussion of late regarding 'the big move'
and the general player acceptance of Geleia as a viable setting; I
think your running this adventure from Rougtero would help to ease
any tensions that exist. My only request is that you try to make it
somewhat easier for the adventurers who do not wish to remain in
Geleia to get home. Hmm, a thought just struck me, perhaps the
adventurers are only hired to get the cargo from Rougtero to a
check point along the route where another group (non-player) will
take it the rest of the way. The Pirates could still be motivated to
hijack the cargo for some reason (e.g., prove that adventurers from
Rougtero are a laughing-stock, they actually need the cargo to be
closer to Rougtero, whatever). What do you think?
Lyle
PS - I am really grateful for your offer to help out, Kris. I guess I
owe you one too. ;-)

If Mike really really needs to switch with someone and people don't
mind, I can run a Roughtero game this Saturday in lieu of my Geleia
game October 3rd. My game is about a mission to stop some of the
Southern Pirates. Since they raid shipping lines everywhere (mainly
around Geleia), I can have a Geleia merchant lord hire Roughtero
people to protect a shipment going to Geleia from Roughtero as well
as anywhere else.
Just let me know soon please.
