On your list, scythes and sickles both do a d6, but one is huge.  Also, I
don't see an estoc doing the same amount of damage as a long sword.  In my
opinion, because of the nature of the mode, h2h piercing weapons should be
at one die lower than you would attribute to it's edged equivalent.  The
reason I don't see an estoc doing long sword damage is that the long sword
can still be used ot pierce, and has greater cross sectional area for
penetration damage.  Edged doesn't necessarily mean "incapable of
piercing", the crits just aren't as nasty.
