Re: Elesina (those who don't care, don't read)

Wow Matt. Did you miss the whole f^cking point here or what? This
didn't start over if the adventurer actions were valid or not
(though they were)... Lyle made a public innuenda that Kris was
cheating (Is Elesina back? If so I'd like to know how...). Kris
replied that it was a legitimate ressurection and it should have
been dropped there. It wasn't... Lyle attempted to take it offline
as is his usual style.

If someone is going to make a public accusation they should be
prepared for public rebuttal. I hate it when someone makes an
accusation and then things get settled in private. All the public
remembers is the accusation and the fact that no one seemed to
deny the accusation (publically). That's crap. Be an adult for a
second... RL has repercussions as well.

And as you said it seemed to be between Lyle and Kris... why butt in?

This one was. Most are. I don't really believe in senior GMs. If I have
a resurrection to do I either just do it (same way I cast a lightning
bolt or anything else that the rules allow) or if its going to be
politically hot I have Dan adjudicate.

Why? Circumstances don't affect my spells at all. Zip, zero nada. All
I have to do is meet the requirements of the spell. The presense of the
GM just meancs they get to argue Dan out of a perfectly legal resurrection.
Yeah right.

Or maybe I don't give a rats ass for anubis and he has billions of
souls to look out for.

Spells are spells. Put a clause in the spell that says 'at the whim
of anubis'.

Read the book.

Might work. Pur whim of the diety.

Results in death of castor. Any priest who tried to cheese out of
this result is not worthy to be a priest of Isis.

If I ever use one under you I'll give you a writeup :)

On a related topic... one of my adventurer's _IS_ a hirudo and most
of the people I adventure with know exactly what a hirduo looks like.
Your temple should teach you better if Ra and Rudri are actually
supposed to be in opposition :)
