RE: Tactics

Why would you need any AGI roll when ( this is a real example ):

Erica is 10 feet from a door and has a move of 60'.
Dusk is 50 feet from the same door and is moving at 60' as well.

Why when they both say "I go through the door" should they be
subject to an AGI roll when there is 40 feet in between them? Now
if someone is coming in through the same door I am all for that
AGI roll. But I am sick of having to have to use 4 rounds to get
4 people though a door when the only obstuctions are the 4 trying
to go through the door. If you want to give them some penalty
come up with who had to wait and don't let them move as far into
the room since part of their move required stopping.

As for the tactics skill I would certainly expect you to allow its
use since it was ratified under Dan. Tactics also doesn't stop us
from getting Bolted by someone who has no tactics skill that you
just have to rely on common sence. Tactics was also made so bypass
the lets bog down the game by coming up with a coordinating phrase
so we can all act on the surprise round. Just this weekend we
spent over 20 minutes coming up with a signal which since most of
us didn't know each other was neccessary. But if it was being done
with the group with tactics that would be 20 more minutes of
roleplaying to other goals.
