question, will the damage vary by the weight of the round?  A 10lbs
chunk of iron is a _HUGE_ wad of iron to be shooting at someone or
thing.  That traveling at a fairly high rate of speed would do a
frightening amount of damage to a person.

Also what about different types of ammunition?  like anti-personel
stuff, i.e. feed the lizard a buncha rocks then gank it? ;)

Also how common are the wee beasties?  Only found in one part of the
world(a big reason the pirates have setup their base here), may be
something special in the minerals of that part of the world that the
little buggers need to survive(and what makes'em pop).
