List Value

At least two people have this evening questioned the value of 
this list... its value is pretty simple. It is a forum for ideas
to be born, live their tortured life and then die... perhaps, if
they are lucky they get to become more than an idea and move onto
actual implementation (I'm only a bill!).

So far we've tracked down a pretty serious inconsitency in the planetary
sizes and makups. Greg put all of the correct numbers into a writeup and
passed it off to Dan. This came after a pretty heated debate on the size
of the planet and how much land mass it really had. This thread also 
produced some really _NEW_ ideas on how a water planet should be. Ideas
I fully intend to plagerize :)

We learned that Hirudo are people to. Even voted on it (though the vote
was a farce). No results on this item either. *sigh* But I did do a pretty
decent writeup on it and submitted it to this list. Would produce a copy
with suggested changes if there was a demand and Dan hadn't already finished
his revision which we should read before proposing alternates (since Dan's
work, as usual, is closed book until forced upon us).

Discussed how meterial really affects weapons.

Swimming in armour ring any bells?

Kids, diamonds aren't forged sipping mint julips on the veranda. They are
forged under fire and pressure. (its an analogy, please don't get picky on
this issue). I would like to see more people put in something other than
their own words. I think I've been a pretty steady contributor to actual
game material and have so earned my right to bitch about anything I want.
*grin*

I would really like to see a couple of the afore mentioned projects finished.
I was mapping the world until the sizes changed. I have players I want to
turn to Rudri, etc... We have come to some better understandings here, lets
not let our feelings of being beat on bring the whole thing down... be sure
I won't.
