Subject: The real problem
I am not really commenting on this (see my last post), but I think
the real confusion/argument people are having with all these
"voting" issues boils down to this. Dan (as creator and overall
coordinator) believes (no judgement implied with this wording) that
he can do whatever he wants and no one else's opinion/vote must be

[Daniel Lawrence] Ah Kris.... Opinions ARE taken into account, and indeed are highly valued. And as far as how much they are considered.... backing research always strengthens my weight of those opinions, as does the fact that they are presented rationally and with some consesion to profesionalism/politness/respect.
But the buck here stops with me. The game is my vision, and the campaign has been the one I've been running. We want to spend our time playing, not politicking and lobying. The game is a roleplaying game, not a government simulation.
And just so it is stated, I have always found your opinions presented in a very rational and reasonable way, and I have always respected them.

taken into account. Many of the other GMs believe that they should
be able to vote on pretty much anything in relation to how AQ is
played in our local campaign (hence their vote matters, majority
rules and stuff). All this rules arguing is a moot point until this
issue is decided one way or the other. This is the fundamental
source of conflict. Look back at the previous postings if you don't
believe me.
