RE: Average Age

Well,
At the time I did participate in such. Among other things we distrubuted a survey
at Gencon in '82 and got a few hundred responces. But that was before we did most of the writing
because we were researching whom to write for.

Subject:	Average Age

Last week I posted a message to rec.games.frp.misc asking what the
average age of their gaming groups is. Admittedly a skewed way to
get data as it assumes they have/read usenet. I received a whopping
three answers and no pointers to any real data.

1) between 19 and 50, avg 30
2) toungest 22 or 23, oldest 30
3) guy who started at 15 with his friend and got hooked. Is 30 now.

Sheesh. But thats the culture for you. No one really does any real
marketing research on gaming because it really isn't that big a
dollar industry (when it gets spread out over so many companies).

I hear west end games might be down for the count...
