I had a briliant idea for the specilizations for weapons that we were
talking about before.  They could be called "manuvers" and would be
researched in conjunction with a preexisting skill.  For instance, in
order to perform a dismount manuver with a halberd, taught at the Karin's
watch guard's
school, you must make an appropriate check vs. your manuver.  The manuver
costs perhaps 150 base, but is limited by the character's rank in the
skill.  Similar manuvers may have different basecosts between weapons, a
dismount is easy with a pole arm with a dismounting spike, difficult with
a dagger.
