Geleia
I have more or less vollunteered to run a campaign in Geleia for at least
one more week. If it is desired, I will continue to run there as long as
I can and give as much playable depth to the setting. I have already with
Wright filled out many of the gaps in the setting, just by GMing there,
and I think that this is the way to write much of the setting. I also
think that just by GMing regularly in Geleia, and if I keep the quality of
the gaming up, people will naturally seek opportunity in places other
than Roughtero. If people have comments or suggestions, I am open.
On a side note, in the last two adventures I have ran, there seems to be a
theme of intrigue and subtlty developing in Geleia. All of the characters
have adapted to being crafty, quiet, and suspicious beyond anything I
could have expected. Lyle mentioned that the role-playing is tremendous,
and I intend to set a standard just like that adventure for role-playing
in Geleia. Now that doesn't mean that characters will get their heads
blown off every game, but I like to see the kind of attitudes that were
present in that particular game.
I've already made a make-shift conversion for currency from Rou..., and
have addressed the attitudes of the citizenry toward the "dirties". I
can't wait for the campaign to liven up (yes, it can only get better/
worse), and can't wait for other GMs and characters to come over and make
things happen.
