Ah, thanks, Steve. Yes, I mean that the bonus to my CDV based on the
use of my Defence Skill is +6 with no additional based on material. I was
incorporating the original +4 that I should already have into my equation.
That is what we're talking about, right? Even if I have no skill, I would still
get the +4, correct? I mean, I can still swing a sword with no special skill,
I _should_ be able to block a sword with a shield without any special skill
at that, right?
