Re: Political intrigue
I have a player character character who has designed his own sect, his own
spell group, and made several "holy items". I have recieved no
encouragement from the GM structure, mostly because of the lack of
consolidated leadership. When we put together a complete model of the
campaign, there should be more room to play with these sects. Their
actions can have a bearing on the game, and others can interfere or join
with the cause. I have written little on "Bob"s sect, basically because
it has no in game effect. This is kind of shameful because it is really a
unique thing. I may or may not move him to the new campaign, for a few
reasons, but the sect will live on (two characters are inducted and have
spells and items). If a GM is interested in integrating this sect into
gameplay, contact me. I think player characters making these sects as
opposed to GM or actors will add the history and life to these branches
that they deserve.
